Two Teams accounts on your phone miss notifications
You can sign into two Microsoft Teams accounts on a phone. What you usually cannot do is get reliable notifications for both. The app tends to notify for the account you last opened. The other tenant stays signed in, looks fine, and never buzzes.
That is the gap. Colleagues write in the work tenant while you are in the personal one (or the other way around). The lock screen stays empty. You only find out when you switch accounts.
keepme.green holds the quiet account in a cloud Teams tab during your hours. When that tab looks busy, the Telegram bot says so. You still open Teams for the words.
Why the phone is a weak second inbox
- Teams on iOS and Android is built around one active account at a time.
- Adding a second tenant does not give you two lock-screen inboxes.
- Muting one account, or leaving it in the background, often kills badges for that account.
- Closing the laptop does not fix it. The phone was supposed to be the backup, and it is not.
A scheduled cloud desk is signed into that account and stays on the Teams page. It does not depend on which profile is focused on your phone.
What you get
The bot says the desk has new activity in Microsoft Teams, or how many unread the tab title is showing. You open Teams yourself if you need the words.
Presence and a heads-up live in keepme.green. The conversation stays in Teams.
The same ping helps when the laptop is closed and you only have one phone account, or Teams on the phone is silenced. The two-account case is the one people hit first.
What the desk can see
The worker watches the running Teams tab:
- An unread count or bullet in the page title
- A browser notification the page creates
It does not scrape the thread, the preview, or the sender. If Teams never updates the title and never fires a notification, there is no alert.
The first sample after a desk starts does not ping you. A burst of title changes is coalesced (about 30 seconds) so one busy minute is not a stack of messages.
What you need
- A keepme.green desk signed into the Teams account the phone fails to notify. Hours that actually run. Stay Available on Teams without a laptop.
- One Telegram chat linked from the Telegram page after you sign in. How linking works.
If the desk is stopped, or the tab left Teams for a long stretch, you will not get activity alerts. You may get a separate “left Microsoft Teams” message after five minutes off the app.
What this is not
- Not a Teams-to-Telegram bridge
- Not an unread inbox you can reply from
- Not a fix for Teams mobile itself
- Not a replacement for Peek or the four-hour stills on the desk
Use /peek in Telegram if you want a live frame. Use Teams if you want the text.
Policy
Keeping Teams present, and getting activity pings while you are away, may conflict with workplace policy. Check before you use it.
